You walk into a makeup store, searching for a new foundation, only to find 150 options from every single makeup brand with no idea where to even start. I get overwhelmed too. I get so many questions asked on the regular about foundations and what is worth it to spend money on and if its any good. Soo I decided to take the guess work out for you and give you my top 3 of all time. I personally have worn these for months, if not years at this point. They are in constant rotation in my makeup routine depending on the day and where I'm heading. Let me know if you try any of these out! Enjoyyy ;)
1. IT COSMETICS CC Cream - My weekday, workday, errand wearing foundation. If your looking for your everyday, not cakey but wears and lasts like a light-medium coverage foundation, this is it. It super easy to apply meaning it goes on super smooth and creamy, and covers redness and imperfections well. If I have a breakout, I'll just dot a little more product over that area and blend it in with a beauty sponge and it covers. It's also infused with collagen and hyaluronic acid. For those who don't know what those are, those ingredients are skin-firming proteins and meant to plump the look of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful effect.. so kinda like botox in bottle. YES PLEASE!!
2. L'OREAL INFALLIBLE FOUNDATION- 24 hour Fresh Wear. This is one of the best drugstore foundations I've literally ever tried. It's as good as some of the high end brands I've experimented with. I wear this guy for daytime events that I know Ill need it to last but also look natural enough in day light. It's not too drying and not to matte so I get away with wearing this year round. Their color selection is AMAZING, just be careful cause I do find that it slightly oxidizes and dries down a little darker then when its wet.
3. NARS NATURAL RADIANT- This will be the foundation I'll be wearing on my wedding day, so you know the level of amazing this has to be for me to promise that. This foundation is for the girl who isn't afraid of full coverage, full glam. Its long lasting, super full coverage and dries down to a perfect flawless satin finish. A little pump goes a long way. Since the formula is a little on the thicker side in comparison to the last two foundations I shared, you have to really take the time to blend it into your skin, but once its on, you will literally feel like a doll.
P.S. I ALWAYS blend out my foundation and concealer with a beauty sponge! This is one of my favorites!
